with source components, such as DVD players, that contain built-in decoders for the latest

formats, including DVD-A, SACD, Dolby Digital, DTS, Blu-ray, HD-DVD, etc. Each 6-channel

input may be assigned to any of the eight source inputs.

The C45 Audio Control Center was designed for the music lover. Ultrashort signal paths

and use of sealed, gas-filled switching nodes prevent preamp noise from entering the

signal path.

Volume for each of the six channels is controlled individually by a precision attenuator,

part of a sophisticated 2-stage circuit design, to ensure accuracy, maximize dynamic range

and eliminate the effects of mechanical wear.

Other source inputs include a high-performance phono stage for your turntable. An

expansion slot enables internal installation of an optional AM/FM stereo tuner module

by an Authorized Dealer. The tuner module delivers the same high-quality AM/FM

performance as McIntosh component tuners.
