NEW JVC MOBILE CD RECEIVERS COMBINE PERFORMANCE AND CONVENIENCE

LAS VEGAS, January 6, 2005 – Digital media playback options, stunning design and intuitive controls come together in the extensive new JVC line of mobile entertainment CD receivers.

“Few people today listen only to CD. Instead, consumers enjoy a whole new world of music through their PCs and the latest line of JVC mobile receivers enables them to extend that experience to the car,” said Gary DeFeo, General Manager, Mobile Electronics Division, JVC Company of America. “Front auxiliary inputs to connect portable MP3 devices, SD storage to easily transfer music from a PC, and Sirius satellite radio capability to enjoy literally any genre of music commercial-free – all this makes JVC mobile audio a unique solution for the mobile music enthusiast.”

Among the new entries in JVC’s popular LH series are two new high-end models. The top-of-the-line KD-LH910 (nationally advertised value: $309.95) is feature-packed with such innovations as JVC’s 3D wide display for enhanced viewing and control and an SD card slot for digital music file playback. An SD card can also be used to upload images and video files to the unit’s display using JVC’s PiCT technology. Files can also be uploaded from a CD.

For performance, the KD-LH910 offers a 20W x 4 (RMS), 50W x 4 Max. MOS-FET power amp with 4V line output level and gold-plated subwoofer and two pairs of line output terminals A three-band parametric iEQ allows the sound to be tailored to suit any listening preference, while a motorized slide-out face helps reduce glare and allows for maximum viewing flexibility. The HS-IIIi tuner ensures the most accurate interference detection for purer FM sound with minimal noise interference.

The KD-LH810 (nationally advertised value: $259.95) delivers all of the exciting features found in the KD-LH910, with the exception of SD capability. Both the KD-LH810 and KD-LH910 are Sirius Ready and include a multi-function remote control and 24-bit resolution with Burr-Brown 1-Bit DAC for ultimate sound clarity.

This year’s G series features a metallic-textured faceplate and a front AUX input for connection to external devices like portable digital audio players. Two models in the G lineup that demand attention are the KD-G710 (nationally advertised value: $229.95) and KD-G510 (nationally advertised value: $199.95). Both boast a slick, rotary encoder for quick and easy navigation and also include a built-in MOS-FET power amp for full, powerful sound. HS-II tuner technology locks onto FM stations to reduce interference while driving. For those not content with plain old FM, both units are Sirius Ready. What differentiates the KD-G710 from the KD-G510 are a three-band iEQ, a 4V line output level with two line output terminals, a motorized faceplate and a multi-color dot-matrix display. The KD-G310 (nationally advertised value: $159.95) includes many of the features of its higher-end G-series siblings, but without the MOS-FET amp and dual line outputs.

Completing the G series lineup are the KD-G210 (nationally advertised value: $129.95) and KD-G110 (nationally advertised value: $119.95). Each offers a 18W x 4 (RMS), 50W x 4 Max. power rating, a white LED display and can play CD-R/RW discs. The KD-G210 adds a rotary encoder controller and remote control.
