Torrance, Calif., March 16, 2006 – The 75 winners of the Pepsi “Free Ride” sweepstakes will each receive a 2007 Chevy Tahoe truck decked out with in-car entertainment (I.C.E.) components from Alpine Electronics of America, Inc., the industry-leading manufacturer of high-performance mobile electronics. The trucks are available in three editions for the winners. They include custom-modified versions by music artist Xzibit and NASCAR stars Jeff Gordon and Brian Vickers, and are each outfitted with the new Alpine IVA-W200 DVD/CD audio/video touch-screen receiver ($1,100 SRI) and the TUA-T500HD HD Radio tuner module ($250 SRI). The sweepstakes, which began January 30, will award one Chevy Tahoe every day until April 10.

The new IVA-W200 is a 2-DIN DVD/CD/MP3/WMA head unit with a 6.5-inch color display and third-generation PulseTouch™ technology, which gives the user tactile confirmation feedback when the monitor is touched. The in-dash IVA-W200 has a sleek, clean look with slim buttons on the bottom frame of the unit. The HD Radio tuner offers clearer, static-free reception for AM-FM radio stations transmitting in digital HD Radio. More than 500 stations in the U.S. are currently broadcasting HD Radio signals.

Alpine’s participation in the contest is noted on the Pepsi Free Ride Website, at For more information about Alpine Electronics, visit
