Eclipse CD1200 USB Issues

I've got a Eclipse CD1200 that I installed a few months ago.  I’ve tried 4 different thumb usb drives in it CD1200 and it will only recognize one of them.  The only one it will recognize is old (but still USB 2.0) and only holds 256MB.  On the thumb drives it doesn't recognize, the lights on the thumb drive will slowly light up and then slowly dim repeatedly when plugged into the radio.  All of them I’ve tried have been 4GB or less, which is what the radio is rated for.  I've tried reformatting, I've tried using the same brand as the old one that works, nothing seems to help.  Any ideas why my other usb thumb drives won’t work?  Thanks.

I know that on my Clarion it wont read thumb drives that have security software or self installing drivers on them. I finally found one that is completley blank when you buy it. This could be the same deal.

I bet you are correct.  Can you give me the manufacturer and/or part number of one that comes without any drivers or security software?

The one I am using is a Memorex traveldrive. Its 2G and holds plenty of music.  Hope it works for you.
