What is the amp? If you set the gain proper, then you have a voltage issue. What did you do to back up that electrical?

Nevermind about the electrical, that amp is nowhere near 2000w. at 4ohm bridged it says 1000w. you most likely have the gain up too much. What size are your subs, as they can handle different amounts of power at different sizes- the 15'' can take 1000w rms, 12''-750rms, 10''- 600w rms, and the 8''-450w rms. look for an amp that will properly power your subs.

If you can find another amp that does 1500w rms @ 1 ohm then by all means, but this is a great amp. And in terms of electrical, you are going to need to do the Big 3, and a good extra battery will be necessary. Its not hard to do, just an extra cost to support your system properly.
Although I believe you get what you pay for most of the time, There are other people here that like this brand. Personally I have never used this brand but it is good for the price.http://www.woofersetc.com/p-8840-brz17001d-hifonics-brutus-series-1700w-rms-1-channel-monoblock-super-class-d-amplifier.aspx
