Car audio has been a hobby of mine since 2004 - since I got my first car. I've never competed, and I've never worked in a shop, hell, I've never even had my SPL measured on a mic. It's more about how it sounds to me personally. I've got a wide taste in music - from the Beatles to Pink Floyd to Led Zeppelin and all the way to Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. For me, SQ takes priority over SPL any day, and i feel like my current system reflects that perfectly... I'm 100% self-taught and I'm always looking to learn more. My first system was two Alpine Type-E 12s on a swap-shop amp. I think I've come a long way!
