  2 CH or 4CH

I need an amp for my comps. Will I need a 2 or 4 channel amp? Just gonna run the comps. off the amp no midbass. Is midbass really necessary and where do you put them? I was thinking if I use only comps. I would only need a 2ch and connect them L/R from amp to comps. and if I was to put in midbass I would get a 4ch and wire them from amp 2ch L/R to comps and the other 2ch to the midbass. Is this right? Sorry Im a Noob. :~) If I get a dedicated mono amp and a sub would I still need the midbass?

Monos would be good for a dedicated woofer package. and if u get mroe than one woofer, just get a splitter (or splice it yourself). Personally id try just gettong a Mono for your woofer/s and using the stock power for teh speakers (or get another 2/4 channel amp to run them if ya got more money). thats just my opinion.

Is the power from the HU gonna be enough to power the comps.? Right now looking at the MB QUART PCE216-recommended wattage= 60-130 or Focal Polyglass 165v2-recommended wattage= 75-150. I dont think the power from my HU is gonna be enough. Pioneer Premier MP960 50x4

Youre comps should include a x-over,a mid-bass woofer and a tweeter.I would just use a small 2-channel amp and run them l/r,chances are the hu wont give you enough power.

Yeah didnt think the HU would be able to do the job. So I m thinkin bout getting the eD nine.2 for the comps or maybe the lanzar that N2AUDIO recommended http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=18796&item=5740630341&rd=1 Any suggestion? The lanzar says it would do 190x 2 @ 4ohms and th eD bout 100x2 @ 4ohms. The eD a little more $ and less power but I kinda like the 3yr warranty from eD. Being a noob -n- all I might need it. :) Any suggestions?
