Speakers in a 2001 Ford Focus

I own a 2001 Ford Focus and would like to replace the stereo system and speakers in it. My problem is that I can't figure out how to get into the doors to get to the speakers also I would like to put 6x9 speakers in but I am not sure if they would fit. If you can help in any way please e-mail me @ Hazleyez516@Aol.Com Thanks, Tonia

Do you have the zx3 or the 4 door. My zx3 is simple to get off. just take a sec and look for screws holding anything like around the door handle and arm rest. The stick you a panel popper in between the metal and door skin and just pry your way around the door.
