Why wouldnt they. They seem to be identical in every aspect.Chances are the patent ran out or JL sold it to Power Acoustik, and now SPL builds the 12w6v1,thats probably the reason they now build the 12w6v2,if I had the money I would try them just to find out.Even if they arent the same subs, they are still worth the asking price.

i doubt it, parts are relativly cheap compared to the price of the building the sub. the SPL one actually has a rubber mount. the carboard stuff comes off the JL and its a PITA. i've only had the lower in JL (below w6) and the build and parts are not that great.. my kickers lasted longer (the subs, not the midrange stuff, those just popped)

well if they dont take there time on them then they wont be as good either. i dont know i think when it comes to the internals of the motor and voicecoils and what not i wouldnt want anything that is cheap quality, this is for any brand.

So... This guys wants $200 for a "clone" of a sub you can buy for $200 already? That's dumb... I can get the JL Audio for under $200 slightly used. Not buyign no damned clone... Jeez...
