  a lil help here

I just picked up a Lanzar Opti200.2 amp. I have two subs: a RF punch P1 and an Audiobahn 1251SE. I want to get the most out of the amp and am confused about the ohms. Can I bridge the amp at 2 ohms? Can someone tell me the best set up for my system. Bridged at 4 ohms, the amp puts out 380rmsx1 At 2 ohms unbridged, it puts out 190x2. The Audiobahn is rated at 400rms. I currently am running a RF Punch2002 to the speaker.Which as only like 200rmsX1 when bridged.

From what Ive read about these amps it seems that its only 4 ohm stable. And almost all the reviews have different opinions as to what the actual rated rms is.

I had a 200.2 for over a year. It's not intended to be run at 2 ohms mono, but it will do it. I ran mine at 2 mono on a pair of 350w rms 12's for a couple weeks while my sub amp was being tested. It did fine. Barely got warm to the touch.

The 200.2 is an awesome amp, and with the parametric crossover it can be perfectly tweaked for just about any good pair of main speakers.

Power - yes, a lot of online sources have the power ratings wrong for that era of the Opti amps, but the 200.2 is --
100x2 at 4 ohms stereo
190x2 at 2 ohms stereo
380x1 at 4 ohms bridged (mono)
Those opti's were very well regulated and will do their rated power as low as 11v.

FWIW - the 200.2's 4 channel brother, the 100.4 was power (and everything else) tested at carsound.com. The review is still there under "review archive". It did 253x2 (rms) bridged at 4 ohms. Those two amps' are identical inside except for the number of outputs and no parametric eq on the 100.4. It's safe to say though, the 200.2 will give you right around 500w bridged, and I wouldn't suggest running it at 2 ohms mono permanently.
