 Has your alarm saved you

Just wondering who has an aftermarked alarm that has ever come in handy.

my bull dog alarm saved me twice. once i had the alarm in a corolla and some guy tried to peel up my hood to cut the battery wire but luckily i had a hood pin switch and it went off and scared them away. recently some buy actually put a screw driver in my window and pulled it out of possition to unlock the door, the alarm went off and all he got was the removable face on a stereo i only paid 42 dollars for. i dont understand it c ause i have a flashing led so i guess theives just dont care anymore. i think they were probably desperate and on drugs or kids looking for a joy ride.. by the way i was using a cheap 52 dollar bull dog 5002pro both times, i have since upgraded to a bulldog 7002pro because i needed new remote controls cause the old ones were falling apart, i saw them online for $30 each including shipping but them i saw the whole 7002pro alarm with two remotes included on sale for 30 bucks on ebay,i just bought the 7002pro and plugged it into the same wire harness because its basically the same alarm except for longer remote range and onboard shock sensor and it also has an anti car jacking switch which is stupid.

forgot to mention, i think the best yet most annoying feature of a car alarm is the shock sensor which will prevent people from damaging your car in the first place, i never used it before cause i hear other peoples alarms going off during rain storms

the "shock sensor" wont do shite if a heavy screwdriver is thrown through the rear side window "just right". you need a "glass break" sensor and those arent wonderful either.

I was at my Girlfriends cabin and my car was parked in the trees by the road, it was late at night and a couple friends and us were sitting around the fire, and we can hear a truck coming (never thought anything about it) all of a sudden my alarm starts Blaring and you can hear the truck door slam and the tires peel. It was too dark to see who it was but no doubt that my alarm saved my car. After that though, I started parking my car in the back of the cabin where I can see it from the fire.
