  1985 Caprice

Getting ready to install alpine 7inch in caprice classic, but can't get the factory head unit out. All suggestions welcomed.

Not a real easy install... After you get the screws at the top and bottom of the ac/radio trim panel, you have to remove the glove box and unhook the selector cable behind it. Then you have to unhook all the ac controls and cables as well as the radio harness and antenna. You should now be able to remove the stereo. Getting the dash kit to fit is equally as tricky.
