That should be enough power for a RE SX. The SX sounds good with 750-1200rms. They can be burped with over 1500rms, too. Also Memphis makes much better amplifiers than Hifonics in my opinion. But I would say that JL amp would be more dependable than the other two.

JL 1000/1 well you could buy 2 Hifonics brutus from ebay ))) However, excellent amp, really underrated, produces about 1500 watts

buy, don't even think, also I very doubt that JL is clearer then memphis, listen this talk is bullshit, we will never figure out which is the best brand, stuff people talking about here mostly high end, we basically going into insignificant details. But buy those amps

my usamps r .006% :P, unfortuantly i can't tell much from it or a lightning audio amp with something like 1%. my conclusion, it has nothing to do with it. Only noticible thing is maybe damping factor, and even that is hard to notice.

probably at 4ohms, i have it at 2ohms bridged right now, should be putting out 600w. sub is a memphis HPO. i had a LA B250.1 before and honestly, it only seems a little bit louder and not much cleaner, lol. way to spend 300 bucks eh?
