 fried???

hey guys, yeah im a newbie. i have a quick tech question. i have a power acoustik sapphire 820watt 2 channell amp. i hook it up to 2 kenwood 10in tornadoes 600 watts with 4 ohms. played awsome for about 10 min then the amp just shut down. checked all the wires and everything looked to be ok to my not so educated eyes. so did i frie the amp or what? i tried hooking speakers up to the other channel but its dead as a door nail. thanks for all the help guys!

Either it is fried or a fuse somewhere along the trip got shot. Did you bridge it? If so try running it stereo and see if that works because it may not be 2 ohm stable.

i finally figured it out. fuse was blown. thank god!!!! i hooked them up sever ways but didnt sound as good as they did bridged. blew about 8 fuses before i figured out how to get it stable. turned off the bass boost on the amp. works excellent now!!!! i have this set up in a s10 and you cant stand to turn it up it hurts your ears so bad. thanks for the help man!!
