Are your subs DVC? And if so are wired into 2 or 4 ohms? I run a Power Acoustik amp in one of my cars. They are not very efficient meaning that they can get pretty hot. Especially if run at an unstable impedence. If your subs are wired at 2 ohms and bridged then your pulling a 1 ohm load from your amp. Also you may want to check your wiring. Does the fuse by the battery burn out?

well. the fuse by the battery doesnt blow at all. yeah sometimes the amp does get kind of hot also, but it lights up neon blue so i guess that could produce some extra heat also. my speakers are 4 ohms and my amp is 2 ohm stable. the way i wired them was... connect + speaker wire to + speaker wire, - to - speaker wire and bridged them by connected the one + to one + channel and the - to one - channel. i think that is called paralell wiring, i dont know. i tried different ways to wire them on my own and this is where they sound the best. thanks so much for your help!!!!!

You the subs wired in parellel. Yes this way sounds the best because they are demanding a lower impedence from your amp. So each sub is wired at 2 ohms each, so if you put 1 sub on each channel this will ask for amp for 2 ohms stable. By bridging the amp when your subs are wired like this your amp then devided the impedence by .5 thus giving you a 1 ohm load. your amp isnt stable at that impedence (1 ohm). This may be whats burning out your fuses. This may eventually cause real damage to your amp. I would put one sub on each channel and then change the sub box to regain the amount of bass that you lose.
