OK previously i heard that you just have to connect the negative wire to the negative terminal, and then the resistor touches the CAP + and the other end touches the positive wire. Im pretty sure thats right but im just making sure, and to discharge, you just disconnect the capacitors positive, and put the resister between the positive and negitive terminals on the cap? i dont wanna kill myself. Also, the capacitor i got is the power acoustik 3.0F but its 5 farad it says. but on both the negative and positive terminals, theres a 4 gauge mount, and a 8 gauge mount...now isnt that stupid, cuz any system that requires 5 farad is gonna use at least 4 gauge, maybe 2. well im just assuming i should hook the power to the capacitor in the 4 gauge spot, and 8 gauge going from the CAP to amp. correct me please if u have a better idea.
