Most of the people I know have their subs facing the rear of the car. But I firmly beleive its all about personal prefrence. I have my subs facing upwards, thats what sounds best to me. Experiment with yours, try different positions and find out what sound best to you. Too many subs to name that pound out some serious bass. Remember that your set up has to be as good as your sub to sound good. I personally run 2 Earthquake DBX12's in large slot ported box. These subs are not considered in the same class as Diamond M6, Eclipse, Brahma, Inhumans, DD, but the way I got them set up I would go up against any of them. You need to consider the amp and enclosure. If these 2 items are right, then any half decent sub will pound out decent bass.
