 Yellowtop- Deep cycle battery

What's a Yellowtop deep cycle battery going to do to my electrical? I'm currently running stock alternator (90amp) with a 1,400 amp, outboard bass EQ & some neon installed. Thinking about upgrading to a 160amp alternator but not comitted yet... wondering if the deep cycle battery will bring the juice i need?

a high output alternator will help your electrical system more than a yellow top will, but be careful. with a HO alternator, if you don't actually use the extra current it generates, you will burn it out fairly quickly

Good advice thanks dudes. I think i'll go with the aftermarket HO alternator. Found one specifically for my jeep on the Alterstart site for 150$ so it seems like a sweet deal. They claim it can support up to 2,000w systems and offer a lifetime warrenty. Honestly if it keeps my power flowing right for 6 months i'll be happy lol.
