Batteries can be stacked into a car with no big problem. It just takes longer when you start your car to bring them all up to the full 14.4 or so volts. I am a fan of Kinetik batteries found at www.Kinetikaudio.com I have a HC2000 under my hood and 10 of the Monster batteries chilling in the back. I did upgrade me stock alt from a 120amp to a 300amp. The new alt just charges the batteries up faster. Not fast enough for what I need but it dose the job.
