 ?? Hidden system for a 71 vw

I was wondering if there is a cd changer with a built in am/fm tuner and a seperate small remote? Maybe the remote has a led display. What I have in mind is mounting the cd changer/tuner combo in the front trunk or under the seat and being able to do all controlling with a remote. either a small palm remote or one that can be mounted near the steering wheel. Have a seperate amp and 4 speakers, 2 in front doors, 2 hidden in rear. I just don't see why I have to mount a traditional stereo in the dash area when all of the major components are mounted elsewhere. The car has no stock radio. They never came with one. So I would have to fabricate an under-dash mounting bracket. I am trying to avoud that and changing the cool original look of the interior. I am not up on the new cool gadgets so please excuse my ignorance. Thanks all. eric

anyone? If something like this doesn't exist please let me know and I will try something else. Maybe build a custom center console and roll the carpet up it to really match the interior. Just trying to avoid major fabrication.
