BLOWN JL AUDIO XR570's need info????

I recentely purchased two sets of the Jl audio xr 570 Component speakers and I was really pleased with them. I had them running off of a rather average pioneer amp ( 4 x 50 RMS ). The speaker rating is 25-150 RMS, but I believe that I smoked 2 of the speakers as it smelt like something was burning. I know that I smoked them because I saw the smoke, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences like this, or may the problem may stem from. I don't consider the fact that the speakers got too much power... maybe I didn't break them in for long enough? or maybe it's my amp... I have no idea. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this subject and if someone could tell me the exact part(s) I would need to get repaired and about how much it costs. Any information would be helpful.
