 GPS tracking vs. LoJack

Does someone know any info on Clifford alarms used with their GPS tracking service and how it compares to LoJack (Early warning system)? Which would you recommend? Also, I was advised against installing a Clifford system into a BMW because of the complexity of both the car and alarm. I was told that it may end up causing problems with newer cars electrical systems. How much truth is in this? Thanks

I can tell you the clifford alarm install is time consuming, this may be why you recieved the negative review. Clifford has been making alarms alooong time and the systems have all the harnesses and adaptors needed without straight wiring and rigging. I don't know about the lowjack. I would suggest going to a few other auto shops for opinions.

You do not want lo jack. It requires for the police car to have the lo jack receaver to track the vehicle. With GPS secuity you or any police officer can track the vehicle.

why the hell would you want to carry around the dummy-looking remote. if youre to get DEI gps, you only need one remote. check out DEI.com, theyre on top their game nowadays.

 viper

viper has a gps. i think you should go with that. its a little pricy, but its worth it. if your car moves more then 150 feet away from it parking spot, they will email you and give you a call. people a stealing cars by towing them now. and plus you can get on the net and see where your car is at, put a speed limit on your car. you can do alot and have more control over your stuff with the viper.
