What brands have you looked at? I'm sure there's one for your car.

theres a couple i found now

ractive , was the cheapest i found ! i just dont want stock , and i have no other preformance parts .. so the intake doesnt even need to be cold air intake * it rains alot here* so water would get sucked into the engine lol.. i found an aftermarket freeflow intake kit * air intake kit... for $100.40 canadian thats filter and pipe and mounting clamps and brackets and all ! not bad i guess .. and its pollished aluminum so it looks ok too

I did a search and I'm guessing that the 99 Honda Civic EX/HX and 99 Acura EL can use the same intake. You might want to call and make sure. The Weapon-R is an SRI. That's what i'm using on my tC and I like it. Injen makes one too, it looks like it's SRI. http://www.2kracing.com/product_info.php/products_id/3186 http://www.weapon-r.com/store/agora.cgi?cart_id=951053.16562*hj07T5&p_id=543&xm=on&ppinc=search2

 heres a trivial question

i first , stuck the filter on my car ! leaving all factory restrictions .. and felt a change... i then ... got some peices from intakes , leaving the factory hose and a few metal peices in between but i took off all the little restrictive tunnles and stuff... making a home made intake pipe lol .. ill hve to get some pics on here of it haha if i was to get a complete intake pipe with all the acessories .. would i feel the change AGAIN? ... my car has 2 times the sound it did before lol i didnt know this could make such a difference

You may or may not feel it. The intakes were designed especially for your car, every bend in the pipe, size, etc. Now that you've made it less restrictive, air can easily flow through. Don't know if this would cause any problems though.
