---amphifonics xx hercules $480

---subs:mtx t9512-44 $340 each (wow.. great great subs.. screw the L7s)

---authorized dealer headunit:alpine cda-9853 $270 free shipping!! <--- wow!! great headunit.. i think a a lot of ppl will agree with that one...

and as for a box.. yer gonna have to do yer homework.. but those mtx 9500s can get some serious bassage... i am not too savvy on box building unless it is sealed.. heh.. so use yer $500 for a box very wisely

500 for a box is way steep, i think like 100 or 150. put that money towards subs. i am looking at the treo ssx mabye for my next ride, mabye the ssi. i am not into just loud bass, just enough, i am into plane loud inb everything. but for you the treo csx should be a killer sub. or with that price range 2 15L7 should be great. super loud, i have heard the mtx 9500's should be super loud.

If all you want is a street beater that will get stupid loud check out Digital Desings (www.ddaudio.com) look into the 9500 or 3500 series. RPMSOUNDS is a DD dealer so he can let you know more about the DD subs. Also check out the Audioque HD series (www.audioque.com). They are similar to the DD subs but cost a little less. Put either of those in a ported box tuned high (about 40hz) and your neighbors will hate you. You should be able to get a custom built ported box for about 150ish, so you can spend more on amps or subs to suit your neads.

since you got money to spend

i know these have the abilty to get louder then the mtx's that j.b. suggested because of there low spl rating. although those mtx are a great sub i would consider somthing with a higher spl of 90 db's or higher here are a 800 watts rms sub that will keep up with those mtx any ways here is a link to them and i will find you a amp for them in a minute any ways rhino...
