 bad H2h battles

I think that everyone that sees this guy with the computer speakers should help out the guy competeing against him and vote for there install.ppl are losing some well deserved points that they have earned. Just a thought

I think everyone would appreciate the H2h competition more if the voting rules could tighten up. Currently, you can win a h2h by just convincing your largest group of friends/family to log on and vote for you - it's even encouraged in the "how-to" section. My suggestion would be that to vote you must be a forum member. The next level would be to require you to have install posted. We could go even deeper than that, but I think those two criteria would eliminate the 130-16 wins by an inferior install. Everyone is here because they really appreciate great systems and integrations into challenging vehicles. The published installs are awesome for sharing ideas and the clever ones are applauded. h2h should be about showing your personal take on how to turn your car into a cool audio haven, and being awarded when you do a great job. The h2h competitions should be the ultimate place for giving/getting a major thumbs up from avid car stereo peers - not a "who can make their large list of friends vote for them" contest.

Hell yeah...it was like 21-5 when I voted....WTF!!!! We had this problem before. The haters can't get a life and this is their fun. It takes a sad small minded person like deadrave to mess up a good thing. Contact the Administrator and he will be banned. Thats the best way to get rid of the dirt balls!!!

it is truely sad that people cheat on here because it takes the fun out of it all, and i doubt that turd has 113 friends that would vote for him even if he were in a aol chat room spamin everyone..but one thing i think would be good for votes on the installs and on the head 2 heads would be NO VOTEING IF NOT A MEMBER or if not a member have their votes equal like 100 pts or 50 pts something real small so if they are cheating it would take them so long to cheat it wouldnt be worth the effort to do so...and on the h2h make it so you can only vote if a member and when one member votes the systems remebers the users name so that user can not revote again and again and again

agree with the members only can vote statement and then the site can make it so its one vote per member.this would solve all the drama for ever. so if the administrator is reading this how about it dude!

Why do you guys think getting your freinds to log onto the site and vote is encouraged? The more hits on the site the more other sites want to advertise here. It's all about money.

Ford is very correct, and this is a big problem with what we are asking for. One of the selling points of this site is the h2h feature, and gives it a plus over many other car stereo sites. It would be fair to say that the h2h feature is also a great free advertising tool for professional installers and shops. So I guess if I'm a pro and get great publicity and notice from my work, I'm happy even if I lose some points to a lessor install. It all works until the bulk of people get frustrated with the "competition part", and abandon the site. We obviously haven't reached that point considering the activity!

Look at the advertisement at the top of the page. That company wants to advertise on this site because of the average number of hits the site gets on a daily basis. If the site only averaged 10 hits per day, do you think they would pay the same advertising fee to the site if there were an average of 10,000 hits per day? The more hits the site gets the more money the site makes. Whether it's fair in h2h's is pretty much irrelevent.

true but even if they have to sign up to vote, they were still directed to the site by advertise your ride so doesnt them just coming to find out they cant vote until they sign up count as a hit regardless if they vote or not true?I really dont care I'm not to big into the H2H to much, but I do like seeing a good battle every now and then with some good installs without seeing it corrupted

Everyone needs to take a look at the recently closed h2h's. Anything look a little odd there?

here i will give the address for it:the top one or me vs deadrave. happy fordfu*k? now what are you trying to get at? i voted 1 time. i am gamble. i am not deadrave. yet again i do not know anything if he cheated and thats y he is banned, or if he played fair, voted 1 time, and just hasnt logged on in a while. look at other h2h's where people get 123-2 votes. yea, thats right. it doesnt seem right, but oh wait. since there is a big gap in numbers, or just a ton of voters, I MUST have something to do with it. surely it was me. i mean, just look at me. i am 16. now lets look at you. your at least 30 some if not 40. you are old. do you enjoy picking on younger "kids" if you would? does it make your day to know that you won over a minor, under 18? i guess so. grow up and stop accusing people

There was someone else that voted for him, trying to help him win against the bad guy. It was not him. He seems to be a good guy. (Gamble19)

thanks for stickin up for me don. finally someone realises im no different than anyone else on this site that plays fair, well all except for the little fact that 1 im a lil younger, and 2 im more handsome, roflmao... but no seriously, i did not cheat in any way shape or form. the one dude i guess cheated to try and help me out b/c obviously either him or someone else did that for dead rave. i had no control over it so blah. thanks don.

edit: and i dont know if the one guy just had multiple computers to log into or had tons of friends get on, both of which are not against the rules, so therefore not cheating
