 PS2 in the car

I have a wicked idea for a PS2 in the car, but I want to ask those who have it in there.. How does it do while driving? (NO I'm not gonna play it while I am driving, but for my passengers in the back).. Now, I have heard nightmares with vibration.. Is there a way to combat this? SOme way to build an oh so small enclosure to make it less prone to viration from the road, hard hitting subs, etc.?.. THanks for any help you all can give me on ths one!

Using my XBOX, Gamecube, and PS2 in the car off an inverter, I had no problems with vibrations. Just mounted securely, and your car actually rides nicely, you'll be fine.

plus if it's the slim version, then u're actually placing on the spinner and not just loading it in a tray. i didn't have any problems when mine was just sittin on the passenger floor, and it was movin around with the turns

I've been thinking about hooking mine up, but I can't find a place for the ps2 and inverter. Unless I want to relocate my ECU. suggestions?

What kind of vehicle have you got? What PS2 are you dealing with?

i've actually thought about using that instead of the slim cause u can build a mold around it and still have access to everything since everything (disk tray, sleep/reset button, controller ports, memory card ports) is in the front. unlike the slim that has the disk cover on top
