 Inexpensive Tracking & Security Solution

As some of you are aware, a car get stolen every 26 seconds. Either we know of someone that has fallen a victim of it or you might have experienced it first hand for yourselves. I have. Not many of you are aware that there are solutions for security that can add up to a pretty penny. So here is my suggestion... The i415 Boost Mobile which can be purchased at any Best Buy or Circuit City for $49.99 with $10 credit on it, works great for .35 cents per day data service. I hooked up the phone with a serial to i415 data cable (serial) and a i415 USB charger cable to an MFC. I can now receive SMS text message if my car alarm goes off, lock/unlock, remote start, disable the vehicle and track it as well over an internet ready cell phone or computer. Once my alarm is triggered, it sends a pulse to the MFC. From there it transmits to the phone which sends an SMS text. There is also a tach input that allows you to view if the car is on, RPM's and MPH. The best part of all this is that it offers to much features in your hands for security and tracking. I paid $350 for the MFC unit, serial cable, USB charger cable and 1yr free unlimited service and only took an hour to install. Here are a few shots of viewing my location. / Vehicle status: / Lock/unlock and remote start: / Vehicle disable: / Now I can start my car from anywhere and feel safe when I do my holiday shopping!
