  wireing problem???

i recently installed a new deck into my car (94 tempo). it was working fine the first few days it was in. now after it plays for a while the sound will stop completely, cd and on am/fm. the thing is if i bump the break peddal it will come back on, is this coincidence, or a bad wire job??

Obviously, there is a loose connection, most likely the ground lead from the cd player. Does it happen when the vehicle actually brakes, or just when you push on the pedal enough to turn the brake light on?
