hey, question on Punch 45 + sub

Hey noob here(to the forum, not car audio)... Anyway, I just picked up a couple of RF Punch 45's (original non HD) for a system in my Miata. I was planning on running one 45 for a set of components in the doors (still undecided on brand); and running the other bridged to a 8" sub in the tunnel behind the passenger seat. My issue is that I'm trying to decide b/w 2 subs - 8" Kicker L5, and a 8" Polk/Momo. Which do you think would be a better match for the 45? I'm more into SQ. I'm leaning more towards the Polk/Momo sub, I don't think the amp could power the L5 properly... What are yall's opinions?

If your more into sound quality then yeah the polk in a good sealed box and you should be happy, but if you where looking to get the most bass possible the kicker in a ported box would be the way to go,i think the polk is rated at 200watts rms and the kicker is 300watts rms,i bet that amp would push either one pretty good, they where some very underrated amps, hope this helps some man take care.

Thanks man, yeah I was originally going to base the system around a 8" L5, but I ended up finding the RF Punch 45's and couldn't pass them up... I was swaying towards the Polks after I bought the amps, and I guess I'm looking for some reassurance... and yeah I believe the Polk's max RMS is 200 and the Kicker's are around 300-400... Man, it's hard finding places to mount subs in a Miata!!!
