 ipod question with panasonic cq-vd7003u

hello all. first id like to say this looks like a pretty cool site. ive been out of the car stereo scene for quite awhile now and just browsing through here brings back memories.....and tears LOL last my question however is this. how can i play the movies that are on my ipod, through the hu? i have the interface cable and my music plays just fine. i see a selection for the music videos, but i cant get into the movies. store the movies in the music video section perhaps? or some other way that im not seeing?

see, the interface for the ipod on that unit is strickly audio. you have to have a plug that has an audio/]visual plug that goes into the side of the idod and then it plugs into the aux input on the radio. thats how i have my camcorder wired to my panasonic

thats what i was afraid of. in my continued search i remember reading that the interface plugs into the changer controls which of course would mean no video. i have the rca's ran for teh av inputs for future use. looks like ill be using them sooner than i though :D thanks!

no prob. but there should be a red/yellow plug you can use for the ipod. or just put videos on dvd and use it like that

well now im in a search for a A/V cable that plugs into the dock port and converts to A/V RCA's at the other end so i can use low level line of the ipod. surely the quality of the A/V cable that plugs into the headphone jack isnt superb...
