 1996 Lincoln Town Car

Does anyone know of a current replacement for the 1996 Lincoln Town Car radio? I want to put a new stereo with a CD changer in and the radio from the Mercury Grand Marque looks like it will fit, with all the steering wheel controls too, but Ford will not say either way.

have you tried looking on crutchfield.com?? They'll include the wiring harness and installation kit free when you purchase a head unit from them. Same thing when you purchase speakers...they'll include the speaker harness for free. They also include mastersheets with your install that'll tell you how to take off the dash trim to get to your factory head unit.

 I found an answer

I found a custom shop near me http://www.caraudioinnovations.com/1stload.htm and the owner seemed to be pretty knowledgeable. He said to use the radio for a Marque would depend on whether my amp is in the dash or trunk and then explained that there are several radios that can easily be used (steering wheel controls and all) and a changer in the trunk would be better. Thanks for your suggestion though, I will check on it and perhaps find something there.
