 VIPER SECURITY, HOOD CONECTION

Ok, I have the newest viper security, and couple days ago when i was opening my hood the part that is connected to the system to tell it when it it is open, that part broke off. I just clipped the wire and put a cap on it, cause i could careless bout it. But now the whole security thing wont work. any way to just take this who part out? or make it so i dont have to worry bout it. Also any one kno a website on hooking up auxilary to the system. i got neons i like to hook up to it.

just ground the wire out the hood pin switch is on ground normaly and it disconnects from ground when the hood opens so if you wish to just bypass it just connect to a ground or you can go to an audio shop and get a new one for like 5bucks

I have the 5900 viper dont think its the same one but...If you want you can just unplug it from the brain box itself...it will totally bypass that function...And what i would do on the neons is find a box that adds on aux inputs and plug them into one of the plugs coming out of that box...You can get them at sonicelectronix.com
