 your opinions please

I'm thinking about one of the following setups...All will be Alpine type R's: 2 - 12's 2 - 10's 3 - 10's right now i have 2 - 10" rockford HX2's running on a Kenwood Excellon KAC-X812D. It sounds good and all, but it's time for something new. It'll be in a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The amp is stable down to 1 ohm...though i haven't ever done it. any thoughts on what would be loudest, sound the best. no matter what is done it will be a custom box to match the subs needs.

i guess i know that the 3 - 10's will be way better than the 2 - 10's. but i'm wondering will the 2 - 12's be that much louder (how about SQ) than the 2 - 10's...and what's the comparison between the 3 - 10's and 2 - 12's? all i have ever had for the last 8 years is two 10's so i'm not all familiar with how the other set ups sound. thanks.

3 10's will give you a much tighter bass and also has a little more cone space but I personally like 12's

i think i will probably end up going with the two 12's and run them at 2 ohms. 3 - 10s are going to take quite a bit of space up and overall probably being quite a bit more expensive.
