What did i do??

I got ta jensen in dash cd/dvd player, its brand new i just bought in March. I had the stock spekers in up until two days iago, i put in 300 w max/ 100 rms JBL in the back n infitys 60 rms in the front. everything was fine until this morning i turned on my car, and my the radio went on for 2 seconds then it got fuzzy n the radio shut off. i havent been able to get it back on. I changed the fuse in the radio? whats wrong?

your little jvc just went to "mass-produced chinese electronics heaven".... probably due to thelower resistance of the new speakers as compared to the older ones - 4 ohms is enough to get most heads hot, and less is enough to kill them.

jbl speakers running off of a headunit?.. make sure those jbls are 4ohm... usually the gtos are 2ohm.. which usually isnt good if yer running them off of a 4ohm stable headunit.. u could have fried yer headunit amplifier
