Decisions decisions. pioneer 4900dvd vs jensen vm9412

Alright so im definately a beginner as far as systems go, but what i got is a DEH-P6800MP pioneer head unit, sony speakers, a single 12 type R running on a pioneer mono amp. for a cheap system, it sounds beautiful and im really in no need for more power because my current speakers sound suprisingly well and have no problem competing with my sub. but, i wanna get a flip up dvd. I have been really looking into both brands and so far it really seems like the jensen offers more features for way less cost. im really into my ipod and i already have the pioneer ipod cable. i think that the jensen is more ipod friendly. another thing is that since i have no amp for my mids im wondering whether the 40x4 of the jensen will create a noticible difference compared to my current deck with mofset 50x4? any advice and opinion is greatly appreciated

I have a jensen vm9311 and it has been nothing but good to me. Im not a real huge fan of pioneer but you gotta get what suits you. For less money the jensen is worth it. I bought mine from a shop around here last year really cheap so I had to grab it. If I wouldve had a big budget to work with I wouldve bought a kenwood indash touchscreen monitor. My buddy has one in a 07 f-150 and its the clearest indash I have ever seen. Hopefully you will find what you want.

I ave a vm9412 the only complaint i have with it is that you don't have a high pass filter for the component speakers. They have a low pass filter for the subs but no high pass filter so that really limits the ability of the unit. I've always been a pioneer fan but after my last one dies i thought I'd try someone else, and I've been quite satisfied with this unit.
