How can I fit 4 gauge wire into 8 gauge terminals?

Hi, my amp has 8 gauge terminals and i just bought a 4 gauge wiring kit for it and now realize i cant install it. Ive seen home audio 4 gauge to 8 gauge adapters, will that work?

 Why not...??

There's a bunch of companies that makes these reducers. I had looked into using them for my install but went with another design. when you buy a 4ga kit these days it isn't 4 ga it is like 6 or 8 ga it cost too much to sell to the wholesalers and to the shops. it would cost about $27 to buy in a true 4 ga kit and sold to the wholesaler for around 35 then the would sell it for around $49 then the store charges around $150 or so. it is getting bad icannot find one true kit now of days. but bob at american bass is going to make a vfl com wiring kits with true gauge wire. THANKYOU BOB!! so it shouldn't be a prob. for you it should fit.

The best way I know to take a 4ga installation and run it to an 8ga input is to put a power distribution block inline. You can get one that has a single 4ga input and up to four 8ga outputs, which allows you to add more components later without having to run another power source wire. The power distribution blocks are fairly inexpensive to purchase Dean
