 need advice on buying car stereo

well i know car audio fairly well ..but i want ur guys opinion.....my girlfriend has a little chevy tracker n i want to get her a system...now i know if this were mine id drop the back seats and throw some 18s in there lol...but im thinking either 10s or 12s..i want decent brand but maybe only like 500 watts rms...give me some reccomendations...i dont want to spend alot yet...ill let her listen to it for a while and if she wants louder we can go louder..

im thinking maybe those kenwood kfc subs there damn cheap and sound decent...maybe with like a 8103d or so...not sure yet....eventually she will get my 1500d if i dont give it to someone else when i get my new amp

2 alpine type, or 1 type r,   and pick up a amp that does 500 RMS.. for like 150-200 bucks.

that is what i had but with the boxes i have it will be to loud for her probably buy maybe....depends what she can handle lol...im thinking 1 type probably...maybe a 15 type r

with more powerful subs, there's going to be more rattling. Without some sort of sound deadening material, it won't matter how good of quality those subs are...the rattling will definitely kill it. At least with just a little dynamat, you can reduce the annoying rattling like at the license plate and certain key areas of the trunk lid

Most of the guys that buy high quality subs going down my block don't even consider any kind of dynamat or sound deadening material and most of it can be heard through their metal license plate frames...sounds so obvious from a block away!
