 yet another polyfill Q

What's the difference between using acoustic grade polyfill and clothing grade?

acoustic grade will probably have better material geared for changing sound, but as for being affordable, the pillow material from your local craft store would be ideal if you're on a budget

I've opened up some very expensive home speakers only to find regular old fiiberglass insulation (like the kind with the pink panther on it), so I can't imagine any difference.

If you're set on stuffing, I'd suggest using insulation as it will be fireproof if you're running rediculous amounts of power.

Nothing ridculous. Its the Alpine M650 with a Boston G512. I plan on picking up some acoustic grade, but was curious what the difference was.

I think it's 1lb per 1 cubic feet of space and I think that goes more towards sealed enclosures.  I have a slot dual vented box and I put the rolled up kind of polyfill, but only put a small amount, mainly to cover the corners inside the box.
