 KVT-715DVD

I am considering buying this product. I am comparing it to alpine iva or panasonic cq dvd indash units. I am wondering if the Kenwood has good software. Mostly I am wondering if it has screensavers or eq's or anything cool like that. Thanks

It doesn't have any screensavers but it has audio eq's ( but no sprectrum analyzer or anything of that sort). Basically, when you are listening to the tuner or cd-changer, it sits on this one screen (you can change the wallpaper on it but thas about it) that has touch controls. The software is OK -- nothing super. Hope this helps. 6 EQ curves are preset into memory, allowing you to recall the best preset EQ curve for different types of music. The preset curves are named "Natural", "Rock", "Pops", "Easy", "Top 40", and "Jazz". In addition, you may store your own settings under the "User Memory" EQ curve.
