maybe i wont sell anything I'll start an amp collection. but the crunchs are only 300 bucks not to much of a risk.  i could just get another zx but they're not 1 ohm stable so whats the point.  and ive seen alot of people like on reo with fi subs and re xxx  in giant boxes with crunch amps.or hifonics amps.

the new p1500.1's appear to be identical to the HF Titan Txi7508.

The crunch amps don't list RMS power anywhere, not even in the manual so I don't know what to think of 120A worth of fusing.  The HF version lists 750w rms at 1 ohm.

Will you get more power?  Well, it sure seems like you should, but maybe not be nearly as much as fuse size would indicate.  (Keep in mind the efficiency of the Kicker class D vs the Crunch being A/b's).

I have read a lot of unfavorable opinions of the Titan amps, but I don't have any first hand experience. It seems to me you'll gain a little bit of power, but quality would be significantly lower.

It would make an interesting experiment though - keep us posted.

I don't think those crunch amps should be in the same class as the kickers.  That crunch amp isn't even a groundpounder.

I owned the 1400.2 and it shut down when increasing the volume past normal volumes on the head unit and my amp gains were conservative.  Crunch amps I would say aren't even as good as Power Acoustik amps.

The Groundpounders though are pretty good from what I've read on this forum

the factory's that make the amp will do what it takes to sell the amps. for instant it used to mean the heavier the amp, the better/more power it would put out. they figured that out and started adding lead to the amps to make it heavier. now that people going by how much power it will put out just from the current it drawls, they probably add 2 or 3 more fuses than it needs to get people to buy them. i cant back that up, but thats just my oppenion.

back on subject tho, no way would i get rid of the kicker amp for two crunch amps. if both the crunch amp's together put out the same rms that the kicker does, i bet you it wouldnt be nearly as clean!
