 flip down screen

i hasve a clarion vrx85bt and i hook a 15inch flip down to it but the flip down powers on but nothing shows up on the screen it just come on and stay a blue screen i have hooked the video cable up to every spot that i could hook the video cable and nothing comes on but the tv on my indash works great

how about if you put a disc into your indah, the flipdown screen works well or not.
