I have found when fabricating pod and other custom designs that if you use the green foam that is used in dry flower arangements you can spray adhes. blocks to your panels or template then shape it to your preferance this material is very easy to shape you can actually use your thumb or fingers then wrap it in foil them apply your mat and fiberglas leaving the template side exposed so you can simply remove the mold after curing and insert a duplicate template this way the forms are the same and this makes finishing alot less stressful less layer filling ect. try it and see if this works for you

awesome tip, been doing them that way for many many yrs, never thought of sharing it, glad you did tho.  stuff makes custom shapes so simple too..  i get mine at Michaels pretty cheap.
