 broken amp?

i have a feeling my amp is blown but mayb im overlooking something. i have a rockford fosgate amp, power wire connected from battery to amp with 60 amp fuse, ground bolted down to car, remote wire from head unit to amp, my amp was working fine until some speaker wires touch n i had no sound in the car. i fixed the sound but now my amp doesnt work, it turns on but it gives me the red led light. can someone tell me why?
