 Pretty sure car is dead

Tranny has been slipping past month, today pulled over on a lil enbankment to fix the box cuz the wires popped out, and i get back in ready to head on the high way and put it in drive and car doesn't move. Then jerks into drive and made a loud whinning noise then wouldn't accelerate. turned around when it jerked bout into gear for a second and then same thing didnt do shit. even reverse went out just the engine revving up like it was in neutral Image and video hosting by TinyPic

 When it rains it pours

Ouch i know how you feel :-(. my 1990 buick lesabre is  about to call it quits, i have 133000 miles on it and it still runs like a champ. But... i had my valve covers replaced recently and the guy that did the job "accidentally" spilled power steering fluid in the heads and now all my gaskets are blowing! shat! nowim debating wether to just rebuild the engine/tranny or buy a new car. it is a very difficult decision for me cause the car is in great shape, and i dont know what to do? would it be easier and cheaper to rebuild or should i go newish? Either way i am unable to re-do the more important things in life like upgrading my 2 12'' kewood 3012 and sonygtr2002 at 200w a piece. i wanted to go AQ1200 w/ a 15'', but what can you do?  When it rains it pours!
