 Sony CDX-630UI

this is the deck i have in my 2001 chevy silverado ext cab.  and in the front doors i have sony xplod speakers from wal mart. and factory speakers in the back doors.  i have a wal mart pioneer 10 inch sub just one.  in a box that is under the rear seat and i have a wal mart 300watt pioneer amp.   that pushes the sub an it does ok  i mean for me im ok with it. 

now im thinking of upgrading door speakers  for this unit. im thinking some JL Adio C2650's in the front doors. and they will fit my truck ive checked.   whould this be a wise move? or should i get another deck and everything?   im a person that likes using my ipod touch.  ive also read  some stuff on crutchfield about the Alpine CDA-9887.  they say in one of there magizenes that its an ipod lovers dream?
