 Newbie needs help upgrading

So im wanting to upgrade my sound system in my 2006 Kia Optima ex. Im wanting a head unit with a USB and uxiliary port on it. Can i just buy the head unit and simply replace it? Or will I need some special wiring? Also I plan to upgrade my speakers/tweeters in the near future as well. Is there anything I should look at when purchasing a head unit that will effect the quality of sound? Im wanting something that has GOOD clear clean loud bass but no so much to the point where thats all i hear. Would this be a good choice? http://www.amazon.com/Dual-XHD6425-Bluetooth-Ready-Radio-Player/dp/B000VPC44O/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Suggestions for speakers/amplifiers would greatly be appreciated..

do not buy dual its a joke. go with jvc or alpine or pioneer or clarion. i am a alpine fan first then pioneer. you will need an adapter kit for the vehicle to mount the aftermaket headunit and may a wiring adapter too go to scoshe.com or bestbuy or probably whereever you get the deck you can the adapters they are vehicle specific.
