 kenwood

I have a kenwood KDC 2022. Everything on it works but no sound. I have done all the testing and have about came to the conclusion it is the unit. Does anyone know if there is something in this unit that could go bad and let everything else work as normal but keep it from giving sound? Maybe the internal amp going bad or something. Any help or ideas would be great.

Is it new or used? Who installed it? Before you throw it away check your speakers, if their old then there may be a short in the coil, or the connection or wiring itself. Also check to make sure all connections in the back of the unit are tight, its usually the small things

KJM01 Thanks for your reply. I checked all the wires and speakers. I have purchased a new kenwood unit and put in its place. Everything works great with it. I did not throw the other one away thinking maybe I can find out what is wrong with it and fix it. Everything seems to work fine on the unit just no sound. All speakers wiring ect are fine. It has to be something with the unit itself. Thanks again
