 Orion HCCAs-

Orions have been getting a bad rap by some users of the sub. Thy blow them.and i beleave this to be because people are not breaking this sub in properly.it took a very long tome for my subs to loosen up,But once they did they became monsters.i know most break them in by just pounding them.but an orion must be broken in properly in order to perform to its limits and beyond.Orion tells you this..i love them and perform very well with them. But That break in time is critical the subs are very stiff and need to stretch and seat in properly. Ive been running mine for 2 years at very hi dbzz and have not had a problem..And i push over 3k to each.

Please Note: Due to the extremely long excursion and high temperature possibilities

of this woofer, it is recommended that when the woofer is installed it be positioned

so that the cone either faces upward or downward only.

Another reason these subs blow also!

very good point! Orion states do not mount these subs in any other position then up or down or warranty is void. And damage may happen. There dam heavy is why lol.

The same applies to the H2's,which i'm still doing a build with.A ton of fiberglass work yet but hey,the end results will be worth it!These subs beat the hell out of this yukon, just need alot of electrical upgrades to supply the power to the 2 HCCA 5000d's and 2 HCCA HP 4800's.

Sounds like a nice build your doing.i like the H2s also very hard hitters..How do you like the HCCA 5000d,s. I bet you need to upgrade your electrical. There some nice amps.expensive but if there like the subs i see great things coming from them. Im now working on new build my self just got 2 more hccas 12.4s subs...only problem is i have a little cavalier and its going to be tricky getting all 4 in the back seat..i need to design a box ,itll have to be at least 8 c/f..Im not very good at box building im no math man.lmao but maybe with some help ill get it correct. I bet the yukon takes a slammin from them..lol
