 Kenwood KDC-BT945U Reveiw

The Panasonic I had in Ballsy had a few years on it, and because of a bad RCA going back to the subs thought it was the HU going out. I should have checked but in a way was happy to get a new deck so just went with it.

Went to Best Buy looking for a Kenwood since Larry told me how much he liked his. Well glad I did, this thing looks great, and sounds even better. Has USB, Bluetooth, and a phone mic that I still have not got a chance to play with. It has the look that would fit in just about any high end car's dash. The built-in EQ works great, and if you know what you are doing is not so hard to set. If it's your first time setting one then it may suck since the manual is on CD. So far that is the only thing I dislike. Really need one in the car, not inside the house on the computer.

So if looking for something in the $300. range this maybe the one for you. Like I said I have not used everything it has yet, but the sound and how it works so far is very nice. Like most new anything it does take some getting used to, but I have no problem finding the right buttons in the dark on the remote now.

I've always used kenwoods because of their numerous little tweaks in adjusting the bass, mids and treble as well as the frequencies. Some people here don't care for Kenwoods because they're not CEA compliant and don't have true 4v preamp outputs.
