it is Rhino liner...truck bed coating.. it adds to the woods density and looks better imo...it doesn't wear out like carpet either ;)

yeah it makes it look much cleaner, plus if you accumulate dirt in your trunk, that dirt won't adhere so much to the box like it does with the carpet on prefab boxes.

Oh Sic...the a**holes that charged me $650 for that battery isolator/2nd battery install didn't have the decency to take my sub box out of the trunk to shave 1/8" from the opening for the Lanzar Opti1232d I wanted to have in a 3cf box. Those bastards shaved it while inside my trunk so I had to use like a wire brush to scrape up the remaining wood chips and then vacuum it up! A lot of those wood chips got embedded also in the carpet on the prefab box....
